The Vizsla Club of America (VCA) annually hosts two national field trials and a specialty events cluster. All Vizslas entered in any national event must have a DNA number. A DNA number may be obtained only through the American Kennel Club. Order a DNA kit.
Beginning in 2011 the National Specialty and Field Events are separated not only geographically but by time of year.

The Vizsla Club of America Standing Field Advisory Committee (FAC) shall be the primary contact for Field related subjects.
Field events include a national field trial in the fall with stakes for National Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion in addition to a national puppy stake and a walking field trial (National Gun Dog Championship) in the spring.
All dogs participating in National Field events must receive a Qualify on the Line (QOL) number.
