Qualifying on the Line (QOL)
The Vizsla Club of America (VCA) requires that all Vizslas, including puppies, competingng in the National Field Events pass a Qualifying on the Line evaluation confirming the dog is free of any breed disqualifications as defined in the breed standard. Each dog must be examined by a Qualifying Official that is either a licensed AKC conformation judge approved to judge Vizslas or a trained member of the VCA. Further, it guarantees the process operates in addition to and in conjunction with all pertinent AKC Rules and Regulations; in particular, dogs will be evaluated while standing naturally and may not be lifted for the QOL evaluation.
